1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device. They are widely used to make sites work, work better, or work smarter.
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies VideoGamesKeeper uses and why.
2. The cookies we use
VGK keeps cookie usage minimal. We currently use the following:
Essential cookies (always active)
These are required for the service to function. You cannot opt out of them without breaking the site.
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
better-auth.session_token | Keeps you logged in | VGK (first-party) | ~30 days, rotating |
better-auth.csrf_token | Protects against CSRF attacks | VGK (first-party) | Session |
__cf_bm | Bot protection | Cloudflare | ~30 minutes |
cf_clearance | Security / challenge passage | Cloudflare | ~30 days |
Analytics or advertising cookies
We do not use any. VGK has no analytics, no trackers, no advertising, and no social media pixels.
3. Managing cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- View what cookies are stored
- Delete all or specific cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies
Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in or using the service.
